- Innoxious antifouling and anticorrosion paint free of Tin and Cuprous Oxide.

The Formation of mini-battery within the coat prevents attachment of fouling organisms.
Attachment of antifouling organisms is prevented by the coats¡¯ furface dissolving the adhesive secretion emitted by fouling organisms.

- Stickiness resistance is reduced by smoothing action, while the coats¡¯ particles gradually adhere tightly to one another under seawater.
- Simultaneously provides antifouling coatings and anticorrosive coatings.
That is, the coated steel is equivalent to having both of antifouling coat and anticorrosive coat.

The advantage
The paints provide superior long-terms antifouling and anticorrosion protection in both static and dynamic conditions.
The paints addresses the service requirement of today¡¯s economic and regulatory environment.

Why use the paint ?
Innoxious antifouling free of TBT and cuprous oxide.
It provides up to 10 years anticorrosion protection and up to 4 years antifouling protection.
It is 2008 compliant.
Green 21 reduces application costs significantly.
Value for money due to Green 21 technology.

The paints have been invented 5 year ago got the actual test through the course of application to several tens of vessels.

Green 21 is the first innoxious anticorrosion antifouling paint in the world, is the completely inorganic paint guaranteeing the environment protection and is the safe paint devoid of explosion hazard and fire hazard.

Typical Uses
Green 21 is used on hulls of seagoing vessels, workboats and barges.
Green 21 is used where long-life fouling and corrosion protection in severe service is required.
Green 21 is used where innoxious antifouling and anticorrosion paint is required.

Application Data
Adhere to all application instructions, precautions and limitations to obtain the maximum performance.

Surface Preparations
Coating performance in general, is proportional to the degree of surface preparations. The standard condition is sand blast at Sa2.5; min. and surface¡¯s roughness at 20㎛min. High-pressure water and sand cleaning dose note give any effect.
As for coats of the existing paint that has been clear and undamaged in spite of application one year ago, high-pressure fresh water or steel brush cleanings are recommended prior to preliminary coating with Green 21.

Cleaning before next time application of Green 21, after service NON-FOULED SURFACE AND EXISTING FOULED SURFACE:
High-pressure fresh water wash
Clean only with high-pressure fresh water because, even if the coated steel part has fouling organisms, their attachment is weak and the coat is hard like iron.

TIGHTLY ADHEARIGN COAT : Clean by abrasion.

Application Equipment
- AIRLESS SPRAY :
Standard airless spray equipment with 0.53-0.83mm, counterclockwise fluid lip
- CONVENTIONAL SPRAY : not recommended
Partial coating can be done with brush.
- MIXER : Use power mixer powered by an air motor or an electric motor.
Apply Green 21with conventional knapsack-styled sprays for agricultural chemicals.

Note : All the application equipments must be cleaned 2-3times with plenty of fresh water.
: Dip spray gun in general industrial water at rest times.

Application Procedures
Clean, with fresh water, the application equipments that have been using Green 21.
Open the cover and pour slowly the solids.
Stir materials thoroughly and continue string during application lest solids should sink.
Thinning is not recommended.
Apply a wet coat in even, parallel passes.
Overlap each pass 30% to avoid pinholes or bare areas.
Give special attention to weld seams, rough or badly pitted areas.
If required, cross spray at right angles.
Apply at least 2 hours drying time for the coated materials to be fully dried before applying second coat.
Clean application equipments after use with plenty of fresh water.
